His insightful 2023 Santorini report yielded us notable honors: Producer of the Year, Santorini Assyrtiko of the Year for our Estate Argyros Cuvee Monsignori 2020, and Vinsanto of the Year for our Estate Argyros Vinsanto Late Release 2002.

Peter Pharos’ acclaim underscores the exceptional quality of our wines, stating we stand as a leading light on the island, “As for “Producer of the Year”, it’ll probably be a while before someone knocks Estate Argyros off that perch.”

The Cuvee Monsignori 2020 is praised for its present excellence and longevity, hinting at the latent potential of Santorini, “In the photo-finish, I went with Monsignori 2020… That two of these labels also feature as ‘Discoveries of the Year’ shows just how much potential there is still for Santorini.”

Concerning the Estate Argyros Vinsanto Late Release 2002, Peter Pharos predicts its enduring reign, “On the Vinsanto front, it’s difficult to see their Late Release leaving the top spot.”
