This update is all about the inclusion of Estate Argyros in the 100 top wineries of the world, as awarded by the Wines & Spirits magazine. It was the seventh time Estate Argyros was included in this prestigious list; previous times were in 2005, 2006, 2013, 2014, 2018 & 2019. An achievement that fills us with joy but also with responsibility in equal parts!

Wines & Spirits has a great reputation all over the world thanks to its consistency and seriousness. In fact, it is highly appreciated by experts for a holistic approach towards the wineries that criticizes, at a time when competing publications give too much importance to the prices or scores coming from a single bottle.

It is from this perspective that Wines & Spirits launched the Top 100 Wineries in the World list several decades ago. The selection is extremely difficult because it is not based, for example, on the average score of the wines they rated, but on all those elements that make a winery undeniably world-class.

It is, therefore, a great honor for Estate Argyros to be included in this list. In addition, it is a great success for Greece to participate with a total of four wineries. It is not only that our country participated by winning 4% of the list. It is that only four countries, France, Italy, Spain and USA, have more representatives in this Top 100!
